Wagamama x Buldak Fire Menu
In June 2026, Wagamama became the first major national UK restaurant chain to partner with Buldak, the Korean hot-sauce and instant-noodle brand behind the viral "fire noodle" trend. Here's exactly what's on the collaboration menu, what it costs, and what we still don't know.

What the Wagamama x Buldak Partnership Actually Is
Wagamama and Samyang Foods Europe launched a nationwide UK collaboration on 17 June 2026, described by both companies as Buldak's biggest UK restaurant partnership to date. Christina Connor, Wagamama's senior food innovation and marketing manager, said the brand was "always looking for authentic ways to push flavour boundaries," while Samyang Foods Europe's Belén Llamazares called Buldak "a pioneer in bringing bold, intense spicy flavours that awaken all your senses." The tie-in leans into Buldak's existing fame from viral spice-challenge videos, aimed particularly at Gen Z diners already familiar with the brand from social media.
Rather than serving Samyang's packaged instant noodles, Wagamama has built Buldak's signature hot sauce into two of its own dishes - and offers extra Buldak sauce on request for anyone who wants to push the heat further on other dishes.
The Buldak Menu
Both dishes and their prices are sourced from Wagamama's official national menu PDF (June 2026), the same official source used across this site. Calories are confirmed directly from Wagamama's own live menu page.

Where to Get It

What We Don't Know Yet
Two things we're deliberately not guessing at:
- Full allergen breakdown - both dishes launched after Wagamama's most recently published allergen matrix (22 April 2026), so we don't have a verified "contains" / "may contain" list for either one. Ask in-restaurant before ordering if you have an allergy.
- Whether it's permanent or time-limited - trade press coverage of the launch didn't state an end date, and we haven't found one on Wagamama's own site either. Some third-party menu sites label it "limited time," but we can't independently confirm that.
We'll update this page once either gap closes. In the meantime, see our full menu guide for the rest of the tracked, fully-sourced dishes.
FAQs
- What is Buldak?
- Buldak is a Korean hot sauce and instant noodle brand owned by Samyang Foods, known internationally for its "fire noodle" flavour and viral spice-challenge videos. Wagamama's collaboration brings Buldak's sauce into two dishes on its own menu, rather than serving Samyang's packaged noodles directly.
- Is the Buldak menu at Wagamama time-limited?
- We haven't found an official end date from Wagamama or in the trade press coverage of the launch. Some third-party menu sites describe it as "limited time," but we can't verify that independently as of 4 September 2026 - treat it as an active collaboration for now and check with your branch or wagamama.com if you're planning a visit specifically for it.
- How spicy is the Buldak menu?
- Wagamama markets Buldak as bringing "bold, intense spicy flavours," and the brand's wider reputation is built on extreme heat - but Wagamama doesn't publish a numerical spice rating for these dishes. If you're heat-sensitive, ask staff before ordering rather than assuming.
- Are the Buldak dishes vegan or vegetarian?
- No - both current Buldak dishes contain meat (chicken in the fire wings, beef brisket in the bibimbap). See our vegan menu guide for plant-based options instead.
- Where can I get full allergen information for the Buldak dishes?
- These two dishes launched after Wagamama's most recent published allergen matrix (22 April 2026), so we don't yet have a verified allergen breakdown for them - we won't guess. Ask a manager in-restaurant, the same route Wagamama recommends for any allergy query. See our allergen guide for the other 72 dishes we do have full allergen data for.
